Question: What is an ezine?
Answer: An ezine is simply an electronic magazine or newsletter sent out periodically to a list of opt-in subscribers. Opt-in means they have voluntarily signed-up to receive the ezine and were not added to the list without their knowledge or permission.
Question: Do you guarantee hits or sales?
Answer: NO! We guarantee that your ad will run in the ezines you ordered. We cannot guarantee that the readers
will click on your link or buy your product because such actions don't depend on us. They depend on how good is your ad, how good is the product or service you promote, also depend on subscribers' mood (they are human beings, not robots under our control), etc.
Question: Is ezine advertising effective in generating sales?
Answer: Ezine advertising, like any type of email marketing, does NOT generate sales but clicks. The number of sales depends on how good YOUR salesletter is. The number of clicks depends very much on YOU. It depends on how good YOUR ad copy is, it depends on what YOU promote, etc. The ezines themselves are only ONE factor out of many factors that influence the final result.
Question: Are all your ezine subscribers still active?
Answer: No ezine or mailing list has 100% active subscribers all the time. The subscribers are human beings, not robots, and human beings don't stay all day long in front of computers. Some people are in holidays, others are bored or busy, and so on. The fact that you have a TV set in your house doesn't mean that you watch commercials 24 hours a day, right? The same is here.
Question: Can I submit an ad formatted in HTML?
Answer: No. Some of the publishers are not publishing their ezines in HTML format.
Question: Is your ezine ad what is traditionally referred to as solo ad?
Answer: No. The classified ads are not solo ads. For solo ads, check our network's main site.
Question: Where in the ezines will my ad be placed?
Answer: Some publishers may place your ad near the top, others in the center, some at the bottom, or some have a separate issue for classified ads.
Question: How long does it take for the ezine ad to be published?
Answer: It depends on each publisher's schedule and also on how many ads the publisher already received. For example, most of the ezines are published one time per week. If the ad slots for this week are already booked of course that the publisher will schedule your ad for next week. As a consequence, there is no fixed term. Generally speaking, some publishers will publish it within a few days, others within 1-2 weeks but there may be situations when the ad will be posted within 4-5 weeks. This last situation appears especially when the publishers post very few ads in each issue of her or his ezine. You will wait longer but you get better results because there are not a lot of ads. Example: the publisher of "Ezine Advertising Info" usually publishes maximum 2-3 ads in each issue of his ezine.
Question: How will I know when my ad is published?
Answer: You will be subscribed to the ezines in the group(s) you purchased. This way you see exactly when your ad is published.
Question: How long does the ezine ad last?
Answer: Most of the ezines are sent by email to subscribers. Your ad will be published one time in each ezine from the group you purchase. The right question is not "how long" but "how many times" - and the answer is one time by each ezine. There are some exceptions:
a) Some of these ezines are also archived online and are posted forever. Example: Jokes Journal Therefore even if the ad is posted only one time, it remains forever online and can be seen one week after being published, one month after, one year after, and so on - as long as ezine's site is online.
b) Very few ezines have an online classified ads page where the ads stay online only 1-2 weeks and then are replaced by new ads.
Question: I placed an order but you never contacted me. What's wrong?
Answer: Right after you submit your ad, a test email is automatically sent to the subscription email address you indicated in the online form. If you didn't receive our test email, then there may be only two situations:
1. you mistyped your email address in the online form, or
2. your email service provider censors your correspondence using spam filters.
In both situations you must contact us and provide a proper email address. We recommend you to sign up for a free email account with Gmail.
